Permanent Laser Hair Removal ND: YAG laser represents the most advanced approach to hair removal available today. The ND: YAG Laser emits wave, which is absorbed by the hair high concentration of melanin. This produces a reaction that elevates temperature of the hair to 160 degrees and destroys the papil (source of production of hair). This effect is PERMANENT the hair is in the growth phase, (the only phase that the hair is attached to the papilla).

How many treatments are required?

Human hair passes through 3 phases: growth, rest and degeneration. All hairs are not in the same moment in the growth phase. For this reason 6 to 8 sessions are required over a 1 year period to achieve permanent depilation.

Each Nd: YAG Laser treatment is delivered with maximum protection for the patient's skin. To diminish patient discomfort the Laser's active cooling module minimizes heat exposure in the surrounding tissue before, during and after exposure.

Does skin color make a difference?

Laser hair removal system has positive results with patient's dark hair and broad range of skin tones, offering particular benefits to the patients with darker skin. The energy of the beam is totally absorbed by the melanin in the hair. The skin becomes translucent to the laser beam.

Only White and Grey hair are not receptive to laser beam. Laser beam can remove hair from almost any part of the body including the face neck ears, chest, back, underarms, arms, legs and bikini area and nipples.
