What is Mesotherapy?
This is a medical process based on injections of miroscopic quantities of vitamins directly into the skin.
Developed in 1952 by the French doctor Michel Pistor, it was recognized in 1987 by the French Academy of Medicine and started to be used , in the same year, for skin rejuvenation.
What is the Mesolis range?
Between 2000 and 2004, three generations and resorbable gels dedicated to rejuvenation treatments of dermis were developed, all three exclusively manufactured from non-cross-linked NaHA, with an adapted concentration.
In 2006, Anteis developed and launched a fourth generation of ready-to-use products, with the unique properties: the Mesolis range.
The Mesolis range is compromised of two products, essentially made with non-cross-linked NaHA of non -animal origin, with dinstinct concentrations and formulations:
Mesolis, exclusively made of hyluronic acid.
Mesolis+, with a unique formulation combining hyaluronic acid and glycerol.
Mesolis+ is the only gel dedicated to rehydration treatments of the dermis.
The Mesolis range – a really unique solution to prevent and correct the effects of cutaneous aging.
What do Mesolis+ aim at?
Skin rejuvenation treatments with Mesolis+ aim at preventing and comensating for the aging effects on the skin, through superficial micro-injections into the dermis, due to several factors:
Stay young and beautiful – Naturally Hydration, the key process for a younger skin
Your skin is ageing Depending on temperature changes and pollution, exposed to the radiation of the sun, the result of bad treatment inflicted by tobacco, hormonal variation, influenced by the normal effect of ageing… your skin gets older as time goes by.
Your face, your neck, your hands… get dryer, lustreless and become eventually a ground for wrinkles and puckers.
The solution: better hydration The hydration of your skin is one of the essential grounds for well-being and beauty.
A number of creams and other products for external use are frequently advertised; but the results don’t last long and are often little striking.
The Mesolis products admit the skin to hydrate at depth and thus to benefit from lasting effects in terms of rejuvenation of the face and of the body.
Thanks to Mesolis your skin, nourished and repaired recovers its radiation and elasticity. Thus you will regain the lustre of your young skin.
Mesolis, a new, natural source of rejuvenation Mesolis is a totally new concept of products designed to rehydrate the skin, inspired by the mesotherapy. The Mesolis gels have been developed from components that are naturally part of the body. Thus they are perfectly safe for your skin and health.
As to diagnosing the dehydrated, lustreless skin that has lost its elasticity…the Mesolis products have from the beginning offered results that are more than satisfactory : the sensation of regaining both elasticity and firmness to the skin is simply incredible… The Mesolis concept is developed around two products: Mesolis and Mesolis +.
Thus everybody can benefit from a gel holding the concentration adapted to the particular needs of the skin, for perfect results irrespective of which parts are treated : face, neck, décolletage or hands.
When can I ask my practitioner to perform micro-injections with Mesolis gels? As soon as you see that the skin on your face, your neck, your cleavage (décolleté) or back of your hands is drying out, becoming dull, and losing its natural radiance, it is time to talk to your doctor about this type of treatment. However, only he/she will be in a position to prescribe these micro-injections sessions for you after a precise diagnosis of the condition of your dermis.
Which parts of my body could I consider having treated with Mesolis products? Mesolis products can be used on many parts of the body: face, neck, cleavage (décolleté), back of hands, in fact any dermal surfaces subjected to external aggression.
Precisely what happens during a Mesolis micro-injections session? Mesolis products are designed to be injected manually through a syringe which the doctor is able to manipulate precisely and delicately. Depending upon the areas to be treated and their extent, the practitioner chooses the most suitable technique (micro-papular technique or multipuncture technique) with the micro-injections generally being spaced several millimetres apart. Each session lasts about 30 minutes and does not require any specific preparation of the dermis.
Are micro-injections with Mesolis gels painful? The injections are almost completely painless, both because the needle used is very fine and because the specialist carries out the injection of the selected Mesolis gel manually. Nevertheless, depending upon your level of sensitivity or stress, your practitioner can offer you a local anaesthetic (cream, patch, etc.).
How long will it be before I am able to notice results? How often should these sessions take place? You will notice a distinct improvement in your complexion from the first session. However, to guarantee you long-lasting results and a high level of satisfaction. Your practitioner will initially recommend 3 sessions close together (2 to 3 weeks apart). The treatments will become less frequent after that, eventually taking place after 2 months and then at intervals of about 6 months.
Will Mesolis products let me forget my wrinkles? Mesolis gels are indicated for rejuvenation of the dermis. It is true that hydration of your skin will, as the sessions progress, “tauten” the dermis, erase the surface micro-lines, and smooth away that look of “crumpled” skin. However, already distinct wrinkles and deep lines on the face or neck need additional treatment. The Esthélis range (wrinkle filler products) is ideal to complement the effects of Mesolis products.
What are the possible side effects of this type of treatment with Mesolis products?
Mesolis products are produced from hyaluronic acid derived from biofermentation. Hyaluronic acid is a very important natural component of the skin. Mesolis injections diffuse and thus are naturally incorporated into the superficial dermis and are absorbed gradually as time passes. Side effects are rare and depend upon the injection technique used by the practitioner. In general, and more specifically with multipuncture technique, anyone who has benefited from a session of micro-injections with a Mesolis product can return to his/her social and professional life, with no need for immobilisation or isolation
Treatment LimeLight Facial (Treatment of Skin Redness, Tiny Veins, Brown Spots and Sun Damage)
What is the LimeLight Facial? The LimeLight Facial is a new, non-invasive approach to skin rejuvenation using Cutera’s LimeLight. The procedure offers the advantage of improving skin tone and surface imperfections associated with aging and photodamage.
What areas can be treated? The LimeLight Facial is ideal for any part of your face, neck and décolleté with skin redness, telangiectasia (tiny veins) or brown spots. Light (low contrast) brown spots, which were previously difficult to resolve, respond very well to treatment.
What does the treatment do? By selecting Program A, B or C, your practitioner can customize your LimeLight Facial to your skin type and selectively treat the brown and/or red pigmented areas on your skin. It’s the heating of the pigmented brown or red cells that causes the therapeutic effect.
What do treatments feel like? When the pulse of light is delivered, patients will experience a mild pinching or stinging sensation. Gel is recommended to cool the skin before vascular treatments. Anesthesia or pain medicine is typically not required.
How long will the treatments take? Treatment time depends on the area of the body being treated. However, most treatments should take less than one hour.
How many treatments will I need? One to three treatments are usually sufficient to see results. Additional treatments may be recommended, especially for excessively sundamaged skin.
What happens after the treatment? Immediately following treatment, brown spots will start to darken and your skin may appear slightly red. The treated area may be mildly swollen. This typically lasts a few hours and possibly a day or longer. Make-up can be applied to cover the redness.
When will I see results? Within one to three weeks, the darkened spots will flake off and fade. Diffuse redness or telangiectasia will decrease and your mottled complexion will improve.
Will the spots and redness reappear over time? New brown spots, telangiectasia and diffuse redness may appear with new sun damage; however they too can be treated. Remember to always apply broad-spectrum sunscreen when outdoors to minimize sun damage and the appearance of new spots and diffuse redness. Rosacea is chronic and cannot be “cured” with any laser or light source, however its appearance can be improved.
Now FDA-cleared for Onychomycosis

Diffuse redness is after associated with condition called rosacea and it can be hereditary. Laser Genesis therapy will help your appearance by gently treating and reducing this condition.
What does the procedure feel like? Patients often describe the treatment as relaxing and therapeutic. You will experience a gentle warming of your skin’s surface during the procedure as the laser hand-piece is moved back and forth about the inch above your skin. You can expect to immediately return to normal activities, utilizing sunscreen if participating in outdoor activities.
How does Laser Genesis work? By gently heating the upper dermis well below your skin’s surface Laser Genesis Skin Therapy stimulates collagen re-growth. Additional heat is generated in dilated capillaries to reduce redness.
What can you expect before the treatment? You will not need to apply any gel, anesthetic cream or ice prior to treatment. Before the actual Laser Genesis Treatment, you will be asked to remover your make-up or moisturizers and, in some cases you may be asked to shave the area that will be treated so that there will be no interference with the laser therapy.
How many treatments will you need? The treatment results are often subtle. On average you may require four to six treatment in order to achieve the results you are looking for. Every person’s condition varies. For more information about your expected results or the number of treatements necessary, consult our laser technician.
What are the possible side effects? Although most patients report few if any side affects, the most common is a slight redness that disappears within a few hours of treatment. Consult our laser technician for complete information about the benefits and risks of the treatment.
What kind of textural improvements can you expect with Laser Genesis Skin Therapy? Over the course of four to six treatments, Laser Genesis Therapy can help restore your skin’s youthful glow and appearance by smoothing out uneven textures, caused by aging, sun damage or scars. You will see a healthier complexion as large pores are reduced in size, and minor imperfections are diminished. This is kind of an oxymoron of sorts. As discussed off the top of this article, there are a ton of risks that come with using a tanning bed of any kind. It should be noted again that, according to most of the experts in this field, the negatives far out way the positives when it comes to the products.
That said, we’re talking benefits so here are the positives. Sun rays offer Vitamin D. If you live in the place that doesn’t have a lot of natural sunlight, tanning sunbeds can provide this much needed vitamin. Vitamin D is important in a couple of ways. Most notable, it primes the bones in your body to take in calcium, something that is required for strength. Note that this benefit is really only prevalent if a low pressure tanning bed used. Now, most commercial tanning sunbeds are of the low pressure variety but it’s always worth looking into before jumping in.
Having a tan also protects the skin from potential sun burning. It’s thought that a tan acts sort of like a sunscreen that has an SFP of about 3. Note that if you’re spending any serious time outside, you should be using a sunscreen that has an SFP of 15. Every little bit helps though!
Sunbeds Make You Feel Better!
Most people agree on this one. While I don’t believe there is any hard data supporting it, it’s pretty much understood that sun makes people feel better than rain does. In cities where the winters are long and the weather is wet, tanning salons offer men and women an oasis from the cold of sorts. One can hit the tanning salon for a twenty minutes or so and dream of lying on a beach in Mexico.
These devices have also been used to successfully treat folks suffering from Seasonal Affective Disorder – also known as SAD. This disorder affects people who get particularly depressed during the winter months when the days are short and sun is rarely seen. Sometimes a burst of UV a couple times a week is all it takes to help someone with SAD live a happier life.
Tanning Sunbeds Are Convenient
One thing that indoor tanning beds offer is convenience. This makes a lot of sense is you think about. If someone wants to get a tan, they will. Now, if indoor tanning isn’t an option, what do you think said person will do? Well, naturally they’ll find a sunny place outdoors and sit in the sun. This is considerably more time consuming than lying in a tanning bed for 20 minutes a couple times a week. Indoor tanning also offers the tanner more in the way of control. Tanning outdoors is, in some ways, actually more dangerous than the salon alternative. This is due to the fact that it’s impossible to control just how strong the UV rays coming off the sun are. A sunbed controls this all automatically though, ensuring that a relatively healthy mix of UVA and UVB rays find their way into your skin’s core. If your skin is particularly fair, this is very important. White folks like me tend to burn very easily if exposed to sun rays for any serious length of time. Indoor tanning sunbeds are a way to avoid the sunburned lobster look. They also allow you to do so without taking a whole week off a work!
The Cutera Titan® gives you an all-natural option to enhance skin tone. Titan uses light energy to heat the dermis deep beneath your skin’s surface. Without surgery, recovery time, or injections, Titan is an ideal solution for your face, abdomen, arms and more.
How does the Cutera Titan work?
Titan uses a safe infrared light to heat the dermis well below the skin’s surface. During the procedure, the skin’s surface (epidermis) is protected through continuous cooling with the Titan handpiece.
The Titan difference
Titan’s light-based platform provides a more uniform distribution of energy for heating the deep dermis than other energy sources, such as RF (radio-frequency).
Who can be treated?
Since the Titan procedure heats tissue under the skin’s surface, patients of any skin type or age can be treated. Your practitioner can advise you if the Titan is right for you.
What areas respond best to the Titan procedure?
Patients have been successfully treated on many areas of the body where skin is lax. Loose skin along the jaw line, under the chin, the abdomen and upper arm have responded particularly well to the procedure.
How many treatments will I need? A single treatment has produced very good results for some patients. We will advise you as to the number and frequency of treatments recommended for optimal results.
What happens after the treatment? Any side effects? Immediately following the treatment, you may notice some redness and mild swelling in the treated area. Both should dissipate within a few hours. We will provide you with complete information on the benefits and risks of treatment.
When will I see results? Some patients see results immediately. However, for most patients, the results are gradual over a three to six month period as new collagen is formed and the skin tightens.
What do treatments feel like? With each Titan pulse, you will feel a brief heating sensation. Some patients are more comfortable taking a mild pain reliever beforehand. Many patients are comfortable without anything. We will advise you prior to therapy.
Has the Titan been tested and approved? The Titan has been carefully studied in clinics around the world. It is cleared for the treatment of wrinkles in Europe and for general dermatologic use in Canada. In the US, it is cleared for topical heating to increase local tissue temperatures and circulation. An additional 510(k) clearance is pending in the US for the treatment of wrinkles.

Vascular conditions are dominant in skin types I to III
Patients presenting with vascular disorders are a common theme in physicians’ offices. Areas affected are the face, neck, chest and lower extremities such as the legs, ankles and feet. Physicians typically use drug therapy, lasers or light devices, or a combination of both, to address vascular problems–depending on the indication.
Cutera answers the challenge of treating most vascular indications.
In general, the broad range of vascular indications dictates the clinical challenge. With lasers, specifically, understanding the combination of parameters to achieve success is critical. Is the pulse duration adjusted to vessel size and is adequate fluence being delivered to destroy the target? Is there ample cooling to prevent epidermal injury? For most, there is a learning curve, but broadening your treatment options will contribute to both patient satisfaction and practice growth
What causes small veins to appear?
The causes can be many, most significant are – genes, exposure to sun and weather without sunblock, smoking and varicose veins.
How does the laser remove small veins?
The long wavelength of laser light is strongly absorbed by the haemoglobin in the veins. The heat coagulates the blood and destroys the blood vessel, leaving surrounding tissue intact. Depending on the number and size of the blood vessels, one or more treatments may be needed.
What are the side effects of laser small vein removal treatment?
There may be slight swelling after treatment, which usually disappears in 24 hours. There may be some discolouration under the skin which can persist for some weeks, but can be concealed by women’s makeup or a tinted moisturiser.
Is this a permanent treatment?
The treated veins have been permanently removed, but later skin damage or problematic underlying blood vessels may cause new veins to appear, which will then have to be treated. Avoiding environmental factors such as sun and smoking can help prevent recurrence.
What will it cost?
Vein & Laser has a basic charge of $150 for 15 minutes of laser time.
What must I do before and after treatment?
Avoid sun exposure and always use sunblock. Remove makeup before treatment. Avoid alcohol and vigorous activity for 24 hours after treatment. Otherwise continue with your normal life.
What laser is used at Vein & Laser ?
The Cutera Coolglide Excel laser is used for small vein removal. All our laser machines are FDA Approved, are regularly tested and certified.

Endermologie Yields Visible and Measurable Results
Throughout one’s life, the level of body fat tends to increase, causing the appearance of unsightly bulges on the stomach, thighs and buttocks. Bad eating habits, a sedentary lifestyle and aging worsens the condition. In women fat is often the result of hormonal variations that particularly accumulate during pregnancy and menopause. When fat cells grow bigger at the hypodermic level, the subcutaneous connective tissue becomes compressed and hardened, making blood circulation more difficult. This leads to an unnatural tension on the dermis and epidermis causing the skin to become bumpy, uneven and withered. For more info click here.
Endermology Really Works
LPG has developed an innovative cosmetic therapy system that reshapes the body and revitalizes the skin. As part of this system, the patented LPG technique affects the subcutaneous connective tissue, promotes the subcutaneous blood flow, and relieves tense and sore muscles. One treatment last 45 minutes and are suggested once or twice a week. For more info click here.
Opt for Non-Surgical Cosmetic Therapy
The ESI boasts an unmatched design and technology that’s been recognized worldwide. It works wonders on your body while letting you relax and unwind. Treatment intensity can be easily adjusted for every region treated. Endermologie is a comprehensive and effective cosmetic therapy system for body reshaping. The system is comprised of several modules including the ESI, a highly specialized, patented massager, which improves subcutaneous blood circulation, plus dietary supplements and a unique exercise program known as “Endermogym”, performed on the massage table in conjunction with the treatment. Endermologie System Specialists undergo comprehensive Training to fully master the LPG technique. They apply different maneuvers to treat each region of the body specifically, optimizing each and every treatment. For more info click here.
How long are the treatments?
Full body treatments are generally 45 minutes in duration, twice a week. The average woman will need 15 to 18 treatments to achieve optimal results. Once a month, follow-up treatments are usually recommended to maintain results. For more info click here.
The Power Peel micro-dermabrasion is highly effective, clinically proven technique for treating the following types of skin conditions: Fine lines, wrinkles, dull, congested, blemished, thickened, aging, acne, hypertrophic scars, broken capillaries (face), stretch marks, pigmentation/brown spots, seborrhea and tattoo.
It also regenerates the epidermal cell structure, resulting in an increase in skin’s elasticity, resulting in more beautiful skin. Successive treatments maximize the skin’s appearance, leaving it blemish-free, brighter and younger looking.
The Power Peel micro-dermabrasion is performed with jet cleaner fine crystals, which is vacuumed across the skin, removing the dead and damaged skin cells.
We recommend 5 – 10 treatments once a week, depending on the problem. If treating acne, pigmentation or wrinkles, we recommend at least 10 treatments. Skin without any problems can have 1 – 3 treatments just to make the skin brighter, smoother, and younger.
Micro-dermabrasion can be combined with facial treatments, to clean deep blackheads and blemishes.
